After months of researching and debating, I finally decided to purchase the Perception Pescador Fishing Kayak. This kayak had everything I was looking for in a boat: an eye-catching design, ample storage space, and comfortability that would make me feel like a pro on the water.
Upon delivery, it was clear that my expectations were exceeded. The packaging was impeccable and undamaged despite its long journey from Greenville to Charlotte before making its way back to Morrisville. As soon as I opened the box, I could tell this kayak had been designed with care and attention to detail - down to the built-in handles which wouldn’t slide out like those on other models.
The Perception Pescador is 10 feet long which makes it perfect for portability; even someone of my height (6'0") can load it onto a roof rack alone without any issue. It also has great tracking capabilities due its stability when turning around or accessing items stored in the rear compartment while still remaining balanced enough not to tip over easily - something that can be quite tricky with most kayaks! Furthermore, there have been zero issues regarding dryness inside the boat as no scupper plugs are needed even when carrying 200lbs of weight!
The only complaint about this model is unfortunately related to fishing - two rod holders are included but they are too large so users should exercise caution when placing their rods inside them in case they fall out during transit! Additionally, although there is plenty of storage space available at both ends of the vessel (including one dry area) many people may find themselves wishing for more accessible storage closer towards the seat such as a small compartment where keys and phones could be placed securely while paddling around shallow waters or being docked at shoreline locations.
Overall, I am delighted with my purchase decision after having taken this kayak out several times already across different terrains including calm ocean waves and choppy inland waterways alike! Whether you're an experienced fisherman/woman or simply looking for your first ever sit-on-top experience then look no further than Perception's Pescador Fishing Kayak – you won't regret it!
