We found the kayak to be stable enough for standing up and casting, even with larger waves or windy conditions. Its tracking was excellent when going straight ahead, but we had some difficulty making tight turns with it due to its length and width.

The Pelican Sit-on-top Fishing Kayak comes with plenty of storage options including two large cargo hatches located on either side of the cockpit as well as four bungee cords at the bow for securing additional gear. There are also two rod holders mounted on either side just behind the seat which can easily accommodate rods up to 8 feet long without having to worry about them slipping out during transit or use. The built in paddle holder is also a nice touch that allows you to keep your paddle within easy reach when not in use.

In terms of comfort, this kayak does not disappoint!
