Upon first glance, we were impressed with the quality craftsmanship of this SOT (sit-on-top) kayak - from the hard back seats to the molded foot wells and adjustable backrests. It was also nice to see that Lifetime included cup holders for each seat as well as storage compartments underneath both seats - although they are not blocked off which means whatever you store will move around while paddling unless secured properly.

After several outings on various bodies of water with our dog aboard too (she had plenty of room!), we found that maneuverability was good even when rowing solo – though having two rowers definitely helps increase speed significantly! We also appreciated how stable it felt out on open waters despite being such a wide boat – thanks again to its 36” hull width! One thing we did notice however was that after longer periods out on the lake our bums began feeling sore due to lack of cushioning in the seating area so if you plan long excursions then bringing along some extra padding would be advised.

All things considered, we feel confident recommending this sit-on top kayak for anyone looking for an affordable yet reliable way to enjoy time spent out on lakes or rivers with family or friends alike! Its ample storage options make it easy enough for day trips but don't let its size fool you either - because once loaded down with passengers and gear this sturdy vessel can handle just about anything thrown at it without fear of tipping over!
