The ADVANCED ELEMENTS Lagoon Kayak is a great choice for those looking for an easy-to-carry and lightweight kayak. Weighing in at just 23 pounds, this kayak can be on the water in under five minutes using the included hand pump. It features a double canvas layer that provides superior durability from punctures and also keeps moisture out of the kayak - though it does make drying time longer. This 8.4 foot long craft has excellent maneuverability but is prone to yaw due to its size; however, experienced paddlers will know how to minimize this side-to-side swing by planting their paddle blade close to the side of the boat when paddling.

The design of this kayak allows for two main chambers that provide full inflation around you should one chamber fail while you're out on the water. It's important to follow inflation instructions carefully as overfilling one chamber without putting air into both could damage your vessel. There are also four additional chambers with different fittings which require manual inflation.

We were pleasantly surprised by how effortless it was to paddle around in this model - even our taller testers found they had plenty of room inside despite not having their feet against the front end of the cockpit area (we tested with someone 5'10" tall). If you intend on going faster or further than casual paddling requires, then proper posture matters; we recommend Advanced Elements' inflatable foot brace or adjustable peddles straps which attach onto grey tubes along each side.

Overall comfort levels have been rated highly by users, although some have complained about getting sore legs after extended periods sitting still (over 4 hours). To avoid such issues we suggest shifting position regularly and making sure your PFD isn't between yourself and seat back as that can cause discomfort too. As far as tipping goes, people who've used it say you'd really need to try hard before flipping over!
